Optimal Design and Dynamic Analysis of Hydrofoil Mechanism of Wave Glider

A wave glider can convert vertical motion into its forward propulsion. There are many factors affecting the propulsion performance of a glider. The swing amplitude hydrofoil affect efficiency to capture energy, and pull direction an umbilical cable transmission energy. In this paper, optimized mechanism with self-adjusting lower limit (SALL) was proposed by analyzing un- synchronized movement between submerged surface float.
